Mr. Yan exerts himself to get the hang of basic skills as to how to give lessons on YY channels.閻先生費勁學習和掌握如何在YY頻道上授課的技巧。【Martin's Note】"Get the hang of" means "to succeed in learning how to do something after practicing". For example, we can say like this, "After three weeks of using this computer, I think I've finally got the hang of it." So today we will focus on some identical phrases to describe a situation where we can finally crack a hard nut（解決難題；搞定；攻克難關） with the due efforts. Say, "to know/learn the ropes", "to know the secret" or "to know all the ins and outs of something", all of which means "to know the secret; to master this technique, to get to the point or know the whole story". It is highly hoped that you can have a good command or mastery of them and try to put them into your daily expressions.
“get the hang of”意思是“經過一番練習，學會了如何做事情，也就是學到要領或學會竅門”。比如，我們可以這樣說“這臺電腦我用了三周后，我發現我終于能搞定它了?！彼裕裉煳覀円袑W習幾個類似的短語，來表達我們經過努力，終于解決了大難題，或搞定了某事。比如，“know/learn the ropes”、 “to know the secret” 或者 “to know all the ins and outs of something“，所有這些短語均表示“全面了解某事的來龍去脈、掌握技巧、學到點子上了或完全開竅了“。希望大家能很好地掌握這些習語，并將它們用于日常表達中。
[1] Mr. Yan is an eager beaver, who is generally called by his dear buddies as “a workaholic working like a mule”. Recently, he turns to some friends for help who have the skills of lecturing on YY channels at their fingertips and try all means possible to show Mr. Yan how to effectively use YY for online lecturing.
[1]閻先生是可勤快人，工作起來很賣力，他的一幫朋友都這樣稱呼他—“干起活來不要命，真是個十足的工作狂” 。近來，他求教幾位朋友，他們對YY頻道授課技巧了如指掌，也想盡一起辦法向閻先生展示如何高效地使用YY進行網絡授課。
[2] In the entire learning process, Mr. Yan just felt in a complete daze (不知所措) as he was too clumsily stupid to know all the ins and outs of the basic skills of using YY. After quite some time, he couldn't get anywhere. In the end, his friends cracked their brains to make everything easily accessible to him. At last, Mr. Yan really dawned on to the basic skills. So he could follow up the demonstration step by step. So quite a lot of time passed before Mr. Yan could learn the ropes as to how to use it efficiently.
[2]整個學習過程，閻先生覺得自己簡直是丈二和尚，摸不著頭腦，被搞得一頭露水，因為他真的好笨，對YY的使用技巧全然不知。過了好一陣子，他以讓一籌莫展。最后，他的朋友們絞盡腦汁，想方設法盡量將一切都講得淺顯易懂。最終，閻先生對這些技巧真的開竅了。他能跟著演示一步一步的照著做。經過很長一段時間，閻先生才掌握了如何有效使用YY的敲門。
[3] In the end, Mr. Yan said confidently, “Wow, learning new things is truly a great challenge. Thanks to my instructors who tried hard to put their ideas across to me. And now I can have a good command of YY lecturing skills. ”
