1【Video shows Taliban preparations for NATO base attack】塔利班公布攻擊北約基地備戰視頻

TEXT：On Monday the Taliban released a video that they say depicts the planning and training for a deadly attack earlier this month on Camp Bastion in Afghanistan. The footage shows the insurgents wearing U.S. military uniforms while practicing manoeuvres. It also shows them delivering an English-language message. UNIDENTIFIED TALIBAN MEMBER, SAYING: "Islam is not terrorism. Islam teach us the lesson of the brotherhood to us." The Camp Bastion attack took place on September 14, and was one of the worst assaults on a NATO-operated base this year. Two U.S. Marines were killed and nine others were wounded, while six Harrier fighter jets were destroyed and two others were badly damaged. All but one of the 15 Taliban insurgents were killed, while the sole survivor was taken into custody by coalition forces. According to Intel Center, which obtained the footage, the Taliban said they plan to later release a full video of the attack on the base.

Cooperating with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent and a local NGO, UN chiefs say they've delivered food to more than 220,000 Homs residents. WFP provides food assistance to the people who live there and will provide more assistance to the people who decide to return." The fighting has led to food prices doubling in some areas and a shortage of gas, with the cost on the back market 400 percent higher than normal. , The UN is now hoping to scale up the operation to reach the estimated 1.5 million Syrians still in need of help.

Amateur footage shows traffic on a highway, then a large truck in front making a sudden manoeuvre to the left and crashing into another oncoming truck. The video shows the truck seriously damaged, but the driver miraculously unhurt as he was thrown out of the front window on impact.
