Chinese filmmaker Vivian Qu returns to Berlin this week with Girls on Wire, this one set in the sprawling metropolis of Chongqing over a period spanning the late 1980s to the present day.

Fang Di (Wen Qi) is a tough woman employed as a stunt double (hence "girls on wire") on a movie set, playing the black clad, sword-wielding ninja bouncing over terracotta rooftops and whizzing through the air.

Tian Tian (Liu Haocun), the single mother of a five-year-old daughter, kills a drug dealer and is then pursued for vengeance. The only person she can turn to for help is her female cousin, Fang Di.

本周，中國電影導演文晏（英文名Vivian Qu）帶著電影《想飛的女孩》重返柏林。這部電影的背景設定是在面積廣闊的城市重慶，而時間跨度是從上世紀80年代末一直到現在。
