The Flint
火石
A soldier was walking down a country road.
士兵在一個(gè)鄉(xiāng)村小路上散步。
He was coming back from a battle.
他剛從一場(chǎng)戰(zhàn)役中回來。
He was wearing a knapsack on his back and a big sword on his waist.
背上背著一個(gè)包，腰上別著一把劍。
When he was walking down the road so tired, he found a witch.
他走的很累的時(shí)候，發(fā)現(xiàn)了一位女巫。
The witch was sitting right next to a big tree.
女巫坐在一棵大樹旁。
The witch started to talk as soon as she saw the soldier.
女巫一看見士兵就開始說
"Hey, soldier! Can you do me a favor? If you can, I will make you have a lot of money."
"嘿，士兵！你能幫我一個(gè)忙嗎？你要是幫我，我會(huì)給你很多錢。"
"Are you serious?"
"真的嗎？"
"Look at this tree. The inside of this tree is empty." The witch pointed at a thick and old tree.
"看這棵樹。這棵樹的里面是空的，"女巫指了指一棵又粗又老的樹。
"Get into that hole. I will tie your waist up with a rope.
"進(jìn)入這個(gè)樹洞。我用根繩子綁住你的腰。
There are three rooms if you go down, and each room has a dog.
如果你下去，會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)有三個(gè)房間，每個(gè)房間里面都有一只狗。
The dogs will be quiet as soon as they see this apron.
他們只要看見這條圍裙就安靜了。
A box in the first room is full of bronze coins.
第一個(gè)房間里有一個(gè)裝滿了青銅色硬幣的盒子。
In the second room, a box is full of silver coins, and a box in the third room is full of gold coins. Take as much as you want".
在第二個(gè)房間，有一個(gè)裝滿了銀幣的盒子，而第三個(gè)房間里的那個(gè)盒子里裝滿了金幣。你想要哪個(gè)都可以。"
"Then, what do you want me to do?" The soldier doubted her and asked.

The soldier tied a rope to his waist and put the apron on his knapsack.

Then, he entered the tree hole and went down.

Soon, he found a wide place with lights everywhere.
很快，他便到了一個(gè)到處都有燈光的地方。
The soldier came into the first room carefully.
士兵小心翼翼地走進(jìn)了第一間房間。
A black dog was sitting on a big box.
一只黑色的狗正坐在一個(gè)大箱子上。
It was rolling its eyes as big as oranges.
它的眼睛像橘子一樣大。
"Good dog, sit on this apron." The soldier held the dog and put it on the apron.
"狗狗乖，坐在這條圍裙上。"士兵把狗抱在圍裙上。
The black dog became very nice as the witch said.
就跟巫婆說的一樣那只黑色的狗很乖。
He put the coins in the box into his knapsack.
他把所有的硬幣放進(jìn)了他的背包里。
The soldier went to the next room carefully.
士兵小心翼翼到了隔壁房間。
