community
用功的同志記得意思“社區(qū)”。那再看兩個(gè)表達(dá)：
the international community 國際社區(qū)？國際社會(huì)！
the scientific community 科學(xué)社區(qū)？科學(xué)界！
不要死記“社會(huì)”“界”等等，不妨trace the root(追索一下根源）。一trace，發(fā)現(xiàn)root在common。先研究一下這個(gè)root。
common interest or interests 共同的興趣或利益（interests是“利益”，忘了的請回頭復(fù)習(xí)）
Cars are very common today. 現(xiàn)在汽車已經(jīng)非常常見。
到底是“共同”還是“常見”？根本是the former（前者）:“常見”也就是大家“共有”而不是少數(shù)人專有。
再鞏固一下：曾經(jīng)有一群熱血青年，被稱為communists，他們strive for their ideal(為了理想而奮斗），這個(gè)ideal就是communism。
共產(chǎn)主義者、共產(chǎn)主義。
community與common，一家人也。
A community is a combination of individuals sharing the same interest, interests or something else.
一個(gè)社區(qū)即具有相同興趣、利益或其它東西的個(gè)體的一個(gè)集合體。
相對(duì)于the aliens from other planets(來自其它星球的外星人），整個(gè)人類就是一個(gè)community，故有the internatinal community等。
