They all scrambled out of bed; Harry reached the dormitory door first, and they sprinted back down the staircase.

Doors opened behind them, and sleepy voices called after them.

'Who shouted?'

'What're you doing?'

The common room was lit by the glow of the dying fire, still littered with debris from the party. It was deserted.
壁爐里的余燼照亮了公共休息室，室內(nèi)到處有著聯(lián)歡會留下的垃圾。室內(nèi)空無一人。
'Are you sure you weren't dreaming, Ron?'
“你肯定不是在做夢嗎，羅恩？”
'I'm telling you, I saw him!'
“我告訴你們，我看見他了！”
'What's all the noise?'
“這么多聲音是干嗎呢？”
'Professor McGonagall told us to go to bed!'
“麥格教授叫我們都上床！”
A few of the girls had come down their staircase, pulling on dressing-gowns and yawning. Boys, too, were reappearing.
有幾個女生從樓梯上下來了，披著晨衣，打著哈欠。男生們也陸續(xù)出現(xiàn)了。
'Excellent, are we carrying on?' said Fred Weasley brightly.
“棒極了，聯(lián)歡會開下去好嗎？”弗雷德韋斯萊歡快地說。
'Everyone back upstairs!' said Percy, hurrying into the common room and pinning his Head Boy badge to his pyjamas as he spoke.
“大家都回到樓上去！”珀西說。他忙著趕到公共休息室。一面說話一面把他那男生學(xué)生會主席的徽章別在睡衣上。
'Perce — Sirius Black!' said Ron faintly. 'In our dormitory! With a knife! Woke me up!'
“珀西——小天狼星布萊克！”羅恩無力地說，“在我們宿舍里！拿著刀！把我弄醒了！”
The common room went very still.
公共休息室里鴉雀無聲。
'Nonsense!' said Percy, looking startled. 'You had too much to eat, Ron — had a nightmare —'
“胡說！”珀西說，看上去也嚇著了。“你吃多了，羅恩，做噩夢了——”
'I'm telling you —'
“我告訴你——”
'Now, really, enough's enough!'
“好啦，夠了，別再說了！”
Professor McGonagall was back.
麥格教授回來了。
She slammed the portrait behind her as she entered the common room and stared furiously around.
她走進公共休息室后就砰的一聲關(guān)上身后肖像畫上的洞，狂怒地環(huán)顧四周。
'I am delighted that Gryffindor won the match, but this is getting ridiculous! Percy, I expected better of you!'
“格蘭芬多贏了比賽，我很高興，但你們現(xiàn)在這樣太可笑了！珀西，我原是指望你有更好的表現(xiàn)的！”
'I certainly didn't authorise this, Professor!' said Percy, puffing himself up indignantly.
“我肯定沒有讓他們這么干。教授！”珀西說，義憤填膺地讓自己趾高氣揚起來。
'I was just telling them all to get back to bed! My brother Ron here had a nightmare —'
“我正在叫他們都回到床上去！我弟弟羅恩做了個噩夢——”
'IT WASN'T A NIGHTMARE!' Ron yelled. 'PROFESSOR, I WOKE UP, AND SIRIUS BLACK WAS STANDING OVER ME, HOLDING A KNIFE!'
“不是噩夢！”羅恩使勁叫，“教授，我醒過來，小天狼星布萊克站在我面前，拿著一把刀！”
