Staring through the dense lower branches, Harry saw four sets of chair legs move back from the table right beside theirs,
哈利透過(guò)圣誕樹下部濃密的枝葉往外看，只見(jiàn)鄰桌的四張椅子的腳往后退去，
then heard the grunts and sighs of the teachers and Minister as they sat down.
然后聽(tīng)到老師們和福吉坐了下來(lái)，嘴里咕噥著并且發(fā)出嘆息。
Next he saw another pair of feet, wearing sparkly turquoise high heels, and heard a woman's voice.
然后他又看見(jiàn)一雙腳，穿著華麗的青綠色高跟鞋，還聽(tīng)到了一位婦女的說(shuō)話聲。
'A small Gillywater —'
“一小杯峽谷水——”
'Mine,'said Professor McGonagall's voice.
“我的。”麥格教授的聲音。
'Four pints of mulled mead —'
“四品脫蜂蜜酒——”
'Ta, Rosmerta,' said Hagrid.
“謝謝，羅斯默塔。”海格說(shuō)。
'A cherry syrup and soda with ice and umbrella —'
“一份雪利果汁蘇打水加冰和傘螺——”
'Mmm!' said Professor Flitwick, smacking his lips.
“唔！”弗立維教授說(shuō)，還咂著嘴唇。
'So you'll be the redcurrant rum, Minister.'
“那您的就是紅醋栗糖酒了，部長(zhǎng)。”
'Thank you, Rosmerta, m'dear,' said Fudge's voice.
“謝謝你，羅斯默塔，親愛(ài)的，”福吉的聲音說(shuō)，
'Lovely to see you again, I must say. Have one yourself, won't you? Come and join us ...'
“我一定要說(shuō)，又看見(jiàn)你真高興。你也來(lái)一杯吧，好不好？來(lái)和我們坐在一起……”
'Well, thank you very much, Minister.'
“好吧。多謝您，部長(zhǎng)。”
Harry watched the glittering heels march away and back again.
哈利看著那雙發(fā)亮的高跟鞋走開(kāi)又回來(lái)了。
His heart was pounding uncomfortably in his throat.
他的心一直跳到了嗓子眼兒，很不舒服。
Why hadn't it occurred to him that this was the last weekend of term for the teachers, too?
他怎么就沒(méi)有想到：對(duì)老師們來(lái)說(shuō)這也是本學(xué)期最后一周？
And how long were they going to sit there?
他們要在這里坐多久？
He needed time to sneak back into Honeydukes if he wanted to return to school tonight ...
要是他打算今晚回學(xué)校的話，他就需要時(shí)間以便偷偷回到蜂蜜公爵糖果店去……
Hermione's leg gave a nervous twitch next to him.
赫敏的腿在他旁邊不安地扭動(dòng)了一下。
'So, what brings you to this neck of the woods, Minister?' came Madam Rosmerta's voice.
“什么風(fēng)把您吹到這里來(lái)了，部長(zhǎng)？”這是羅斯默塔的聲音。
Harry saw the lower part of Fudge's thick body twist in his chair as though he was checking for eavesdroppers.
哈利看到福吉粗壯的下半身在椅子上扭動(dòng)了一下，好像是在察看周圍有沒(méi)有人偷聽(tīng)。
Then he said in a quiet voice, 'What else, m'dear, but Sirius Black?
然后他安靜地說(shuō)：“除了小天狼星布萊克還會(huì)有什么事呢，親愛(ài)的？
I daresay you heard what happened up at the school at Hallowe'en?'
我敢說(shuō)你已經(jīng)聽(tīng)到萬(wàn)圣節(jié)前夕在學(xué)校發(fā)生的事了吧？”
'I did hear a rumour,' admitted Madam Rosmerta.
“我是聽(tīng)到傳言了。”羅斯默塔女士承認(rèn)說(shuō)。
