Wilbur heard these words and his heart almost stopped.
威爾伯一聽(tīng)這話(huà)，心臟都幾乎停止跳動(dòng)了。
"I think I'm going to faint," he whispered to the old sheep, who was watching.
“我想我要昏倒了，”它悄悄地對(duì)站在旁邊看著的老羊說(shuō)。
"Kneel down!" whispered the old sheep.
“跪下來(lái)！”老羊悄悄地回答它說(shuō)，
"Let the blood rush to your head!"
“讓血沖到你的頭上！”
Wilbur sank to his knees, all radiance gone. His eyes closed.
威爾伯跪下來(lái)，所有的光彩全沒(méi)了。它的眼睛閉上。
"Look!" screamed Fern. "He's fading away!"
“瞧！”弗恩尖叫，“它在昏過(guò)去！”
"Hey, watch me!" yelled Avery,
“嘿，看我！”艾弗里大叫一聲，
crawling on all fours into the crate.
趴下來(lái)爬進(jìn)板條箱。
"I'm a pig! I'm a pig!"
“我是豬，我是豬！”
Avery's foot touched Templeton under the straw.
艾弗里的腳碰到了麥草下面的坦普爾頓。
"What a mess!" thought the rat.
“真是亂七八糟，”老鼠心里說(shuō)，
"What fantastic creatures boys are!
“男孩子都是神經(jīng)病！
Why did I let myself in for this?"
我干嗎自投羅網(wǎng)進(jìn)來(lái)受這份罪呢？”
The geese saw Avery in the crate and cheered.
那些鵝看到艾弗里在板條箱里，盡情地歡呼起來(lái)。
"Avery, you get out of that crate this instant!"commanded his mother.
“艾弗里，你馬上從板條箱里出來(lái)！”他媽媽命令他說(shuō)，
"What do you think you are?"
“你以為你是什么？”
"I'm a pig!" cried Avery, tossing handfuls of straw into the air. "Oink, oink, oink!"
“我是豬！”艾弗里大叫，把大把大把的麥草撒向空中。“呼嚕，呼嚕，呼嚕！”
"The truck is rolling away, Papa," said Fern.
“卡車(chē)滑走了，爸爸。”弗恩說(shuō)。
