第10章 臭蛋爆炸
Day after day the spider waited, head-down, for an idea to come to her.
一天又一天，蜘蛛頭朝下，等著一個(gè)好主意來(lái)到它的腦瓜子里。
Hour by hour she sat motionless, deep in thought.
一個(gè)小時(shí)又一個(gè)小時(shí)，它坐在那里一動(dòng)不動(dòng)，冥思苦想。
Having promised Wilbur that she would save his life, she was determined to keep her promise.
答應(yīng)過(guò)威爾伯救它的命以后，蜘蛛決定說(shuō)到做到，決不食言。
Charlotte was naturally patient. She knew from experience that if she waited long enough,

an idea would come to her mind. Finally, one morning toward the middle of July, the idea came.
好主意一定會(huì)來(lái)到它的腦瓜子里。最后，在接近七月中旬的一個(gè)早晨，這主意真來(lái)了。
"Why, how perfectly simple!" she said to herself. "The way to save Wilbur's life is to play a trick on Zuckerman.

If I can fool a bug," thought Charlotte, "I can surely fool a man. People are not as smart as bugs."
