Alice laughed. 'There's no use trying,' she said. 'Nobody can believe impossible things.'

'Perhaps you don't work hard enough at it,' said the Queen.

The pins had come undone again as she spoke, and a sudden wind blew her shawl across a little brook.
她說(shuō)著，別針又松了，一陣風(fēng)把披肩吹過(guò)小溪。
The Queen went flying after it, and managed to catch it.
王后飛速追了過(guò)去，設(shè)法抓住了披肩。
'I've got it!' she called happily. 'Now you will see me pin it on again, all by myself.'
她高興地叫起來(lái)：“我抓到了！你將看到我重新把它別上，全部自己來(lái)。”
'Then I hope your finger is better now?' Alice said very po-litely, as she crossed the brook after the Queen.

'Oh, much better!' cried the Queen, her voice getting higher and higher as she went on.

Much better! Be-e-e-ter! Be-e-eh!
好多--了！好--多--了！好--！
The last word sounded very like the sound that a sheep makes, and Alice looked at the Queen in surprise.
最后一個(gè)詞聽(tīng)起來(lái)就像綿羊在叫喚，愛(ài)麗絲不禁驚奇地看了看王后。
And indeed, the Queen was now covered in a thick woolly coat, and…
一點(diǎn)不假，王后現(xiàn)在身披著一件厚厚的毛外衣。
Alice closed her eyes, then opened them again.
愛(ài)麗絲閉上眼睛，然后又睜開(kāi)。
She couldn't understand what had happened at all.
她真的弄不明白到底是怎么回事。
The wood had disappeared, and she was in a little dark shop-
樹(shù)林消失了，她在一家昏暗的小商店里-
and it really was a sheep in front of her, wearing large glasses and sitting calmly on a chair, knitting.
而且在她面前確實(shí)是一只綿羊，戴著大眼鏡，靜靜地坐在椅子上織毛活。
'What do you want to buy?' the Sheep said at last, looking up for a moment from her knitting.
綿羊終于從她手中的編制活兒上抬起眼睛問(wèn)話了：“你要買(mǎi)什么？”
'I'm not sure at the moment,' Alice said gently. 'May I look round first?'
"現(xiàn)在我還拿不準(zhǔn)。我可以先看看嗎？”愛(ài)麗絲輕聲輕氣地問(wèn)。
She began to walk round the shop, looking at everything.
她開(kāi)始在商店里轉(zhuǎn)悠著，什么東西都瀏覽一番。
But every time she looked hard at something, it seemed to move and then appear again a moment later in a different place.
但每當(dāng)她盯著一件東西看，那東西似乎就動(dòng)起來(lái)，過(guò)一會(huì)兒又出現(xiàn)在另一個(gè)地方。
So it was difficult to see clearly what was there.
因此要看清楚那兒有些什么是不容易的。
She went on walking, and soon realized that the shop was much bigger than she had thought.
她繼續(xù)走動(dòng)，不久就發(fā)現(xiàn)那商店比她想的要大得多。
'What a strange shop!' Alice said. 'I wish things would keep still!'
愛(ài)麗絲說(shuō)：“這商店太奇特了！我希望東西擺在那兒不動(dòng)。”
A few minutes later the shop became even stranger, because Alice found herself walking beside a large lake,

with tall green plants growing round the edge.
