mess with
mess with是口語當(dāng)中常常會聽到的表達(dá)，表示胡亂擺弄某物，搞糟某事，干擾或影響某人，用法如下：
1. Don't mess with her: she's got a violent temper.
別干預(yù)她的事, 她脾氣很暴。
2. He told his son not to mess with the radio.
他叫兒子不要亂擺收音機(jī)。

stare v. 盯著看
She stared him into silence.

mind v. 介意，在意
用來詢問他人是否介意某事的表達(dá)：
Do/Would you mind…?
1.后接動名詞形式（doing），表示用來客氣地提出請求
Do/Would you mind giving me a glass of water?
請給我杯水好嗎?
Do/Would you mind not smoking?
請你不要吸煙
2.后接sb.'s doing 用來詢問，征求對方的意見（非正式文體中，DOING前的所有格可換成賓格）
Do you mind my/me smoking here?
我在這里吸煙你介意嗎
回答mind問句時：
表示介意,在乎時，用yes，后面跟句子，意思是不讓對方做某事
表示不介意，不在乎時，用no，后面跟句子，意思是允許對方做某事
eg. Do you mind if I smoke here?你介意我在這吸煙嗎？
Yes,you'd better not?是的，你最好別抽．
No,certainly not.不介意，你當(dāng)然可以抽．
