【拓展】alone和lonely的用法區別
alone 用作形容詞，通常只是表示客觀上的一個人或沒有外人，而不表示寂寞或孤獨等感情色彩，并且在句中只用作表語。例如：I want to be alone with Mary. 我想與瑪麗單獨在一起。
lonely 表示“寂寞的”、“孤寂的”，帶有較強感情色彩，常用來說明人，可用作表語或定語。例如：He has been very lonely since his wife left him. 自他妻子離開他后，他一直感到很寂寞。
2. understand v.理解
【常用短語】give sb to understand 使某人理解﹑ 相信或認為
We were given to understand that the accommodation was free.
給我們的感覺是住宿是免費的。
3.hell 指“極不愉快的經歷(或事)” get out of here 表示”離開這兒”，加上the hell就帶有貶義的色彩，所以翻譯為“滾開”
4.drag down 拖垮；拖累

如果你嫁給那個人，他會毀了你的。
5.not…any more=no more 表示“不再”
I’m not young any more.
我不再年輕。
