And, this one time it was just us,

me fishing, him painting.

Now it wasn't as peaceful as it sounds.
別覺得那會兒有多安靜
He made all sorts of noises while he painted
他一邊畫 嘴里一邊嘟囔著什么
puffing like a steam engine.
抽煙就像蒸汽機似的
And, then suddenly
可是后來
it was all silent,
一切都安靜了
and he looked so happy that This dirty crow was coming close.
有一只臟兮兮的烏鴉飛到他那兒 他別提有多開心了
He didn't seem to care that it ran off with his lunch.
一點兒也不在意這烏鴉偷吃了他的午飯
And, I thought to myself how lonely is this guy
我當時就在想 這個人有多寂寞啊
that even a thieving crow brightens up his day?
一只偷食的烏鴉都能讓他高興一天
