Jon: I want you to know, you're the most important thing in my life.
約翰：我想讓你知道，你是我生命中最重要的！
Garfield: Let me sleep, please.
加菲：求你了，讓我睡會(huì)兒吧！
Jon: Before I met you, my life had no meaning. I was incomplete.
約翰：在我遇見你之前，生命毫無光彩，我是不完整的。
Garfield: Oh, you still are really.
加菲：其實(shí)你現(xiàn)在還是那樣的。
Jon: I guess what I'm trying to say is... will you marry me?
約翰：我想說，嫁給我吧？
Garfield: Eh? Marriage? Well, this is kind of sudden. There may be some legal issues here. Look, I like you, but not as a spouse. Maybe as a servant, we could stay together, make it work.
加菲：嗯？結(jié)婚？太突然了吧。好像有點(diǎn)法律問題。聽著，我挺喜歡你的，但不是作為配偶，是仆人，我們生活在一起，還可以吧。
Jon: So what do you say... Liz?
約翰：你覺得怎么樣，麗茲？
Garfield: Wait a second. Liz? Liz?
加菲：等等。麗茲？麗茲？
Jon: Garfield.
約翰：加菲！
Garfield: Liz is a girl. No, worse. She's a girl vet.
加菲：麗茲是個(gè)女孩。不，比這還糟，一個(gè)女獸醫(yī)。
Jon: Turkey's ready.
約翰：火雞烤好了。
Garfield: Well, I think Jon has touched bottom now. Hmm, we gotta put an end to this torture. Time for a new DJ, Somebody take my temperature.
加菲：我看約翰是無可救藥了，我們得結(jié)束這種煎熬。得換個(gè)新調(diào)頻了，好興奮，誰(shuí)給我量個(gè)體溫。
Jon: Garfield!
約翰：加菲！
Garfield: Whoa! Man, you have changed.
加菲：啊，兄弟，你徹底變了！
Jon: I can't have you messing this up for me okay?
約翰：我不允許你把這給我搞砸了，行嗎？
Garfield: Oh, I get it. It's her, she doesn't like our music. whatever happened to Jon? My metal-head guy. My dude. You were so much cooler when you wore a mullet.
加菲：我明白了，原來是因?yàn)樗?！她不喜歡我們的音樂。約翰到底怎么了？我那喜歡重金屬搖滾的兄弟。你平時(shí)可帥多了。
Jon: Now stay here.
約翰：現(xiàn)在，哪都不許去，待在這里。
Garfield: So much cooler. I suppose she likes this haircut.
加菲：帥多了，我猜她喜歡這個(gè)發(fā)型。
Jon: Coming!
約翰：快進(jìn)來！
Garfield: Tell me she likes it the way it is now.
加菲：告訴我她還是喜歡現(xiàn)在的樣子。
Jon: Hey, Liz.
約翰：嗨，麗茲！
Liz: Jon, I have incredible news. Guess who's going to be speaking at this year's fund-raiser for the royal Animal Conservancy.
麗茲：我有個(gè)令人難以置信的消息，你猜猜看，誰(shuí)將成為今年皇家動(dòng)物保護(hù)協(xié)會(huì)年度籌款會(huì)的發(fā)言人？
Jon: Siegfried and Roy?
約翰：塞菲兒德和羅伊？
Liz: Oh, come on.
麗茲：再猜猜。
Jon: Just Siegfried?
約翰：就塞菲兒德自己？
LIZ: Jane Goodall dropped out at the last minute because she's nursing a sick chimp and they asked me. I mean it's gonna be at this really cool castle on a huge estate.
麗茲：因?yàn)橐疹櫼恢换疾〉男尚?，珍·古道爾在最后一分鐘放棄了。他們讓我去，我是說，我就要出現(xiàn)在那巨大山莊的城堡里了。
Jon: Well, Liz, that.. that's...
約翰：哦，麗茲，那真是……
Liz: I am flying to London tomorrow morning. Can you believe it?
麗茲：我明天就要飛往倫敦了，真是難以置信。
Jon: What?

Liz: I mean, I have to pack, and... Oh, are these rose petals and candles?

Jon: Yeah, well, Liz, I have, have some... some important news of... of... of my own. Uh...
