經過討論后，CIA決定采取Tony的辦法，以拍攝電影的名義，Tony到伊朗將那六個人帶回。Tony聯系了他在好萊塢的朋友，化妝師John Chambers(約翰·古德曼 John Goodman 飾)，為了找到了那六個人，開始了艱苦的逃離德黑蘭之路……
