1. catch up
短語精講：《柯林斯詞典》解釋道：If you catch up on friends who you have not seen for some time or on their lives, you talk to them and find out what has happened in their lives since you last talked together. 可譯為：敘舊，了解近況。劇情中，是Daniel問Betty是不是找他和他的新助理通過吃飯聊她自己與男友Matt的事情。臺詞中說到的是catch us up on Matt with us，意思是和我們聊聊Matt的事情。
拓展范例：The ladies spent some time catching up on each other's health and families.
女士們花了點時間敘舊，聊了聊彼此的健康和家庭狀況。
She plans to return to Dublin to catch up with the relatives she has not seen since she married.

2. get back together

3 詢問對方對某事或某物或者是做某事感覺如何，可以套用下面這個句型：

4 你感到某人正在走你的路，重復著你的工作或者是生活情況，可以這么說：
