1. prolong

雙語(yǔ)釋義：make (sth) longer, esp in time; extend

[vt.] 延長(zhǎng)（某事物）（尤指時(shí)間）

典型范例：They prolonged their visit by a few days.

2. heal

雙語(yǔ)釋義：make easier to bear

[vt.] 使好受一些

典型范例：Time heals all sorrows.

3. underestimate

雙語(yǔ)釋義：make too low an estimate of (sb/sth)

[vt.] 過(guò)分低估（某人或某事物）

典型范例：Don't underestimate the difficulties of the work.

1. reject：vt. 拒絕

例：She rejected his offer of marriage.

2. acceptance：u.n. 接受

例：Their acceptance of the contract is still in doubt.

3. simplicity： u.n. 簡(jiǎn)單

例：For the sake of simplicity, let's divide the discussion into two parts.

1. free sb up：使某人釋放（壓力），是某人感覺(jué)輕松

例：Relaxation exercises can free you up.

放松運(yùn)動(dòng)可以松緩身體的緊張。

2. in some way：在某種意義上

例：Carrie felt this to contain, in some way , an aspersion upon her ability.

嘉莉覺(jué)得這話多少含有貶低她的才能的意思。

3. agree with sb：同意某人的（說(shuō)話，意見(jiàn)，或觀點(diǎn)等）

例：I agree with you, but yet I can't consent.

我同意你的意見(jiàn), 但是我不能答應(yīng)。

4.scoff at：嘲笑，蔑視

例：Why do they scoff at the idea that he will retire next year?

5. all day：一天到晚

例：I made the mistake of being honest with you.
