1.keep secrets (from sb)：（對......）保守秘密

Ps：動詞性短語

Eg. We mustkeep a secret ofthe things being discussed here .

我們這兒討論的事必須保密。

Eg. Don't tell anyone about our plan,keep this secret fromanyone—— it's a secret plan.

不要對任何人講我們的計劃，要保密，這是一個秘密計劃。

2.know about：知道，了解，聽說有關......的情況

Ps：動詞性短語

Eg. He says I'm getting too old toknow aboutthe youth market.

他說我年紀太大了，了解不到年輕顧客的真正要求。

Eg. Nothing in Germany happens that he does not approve andknow about.

德國的事務他沒有不管的，也沒有不知道的。

3.have someone in that apartment：讓某人呆在公寓里

Ps：have是使役動詞，have + 人 + 表示地點的介詞短語，意思是“讓某人呆在某處”。

Eg. Ihave my friendsfor Shanghaiin my another house.

4.have a (torrid) affair with sb：與......熱戀（私通，婚外情）

Ps：動詞性短語

Exp. torrid意為“色情的”，affair意為“（男女之間）的分流韻事”。

Eg. Small shops are beingpushed out ofthe market by the big supermarkets.

6.run away (with sb)：與......逃跑，與......私奔

Eg. He started torun awayand barged into a passer-by.
