1. Serena looked effing hot last night.F stands for fucking. People call "fuck" or the "F word". Therefore, effing is the euphemistic way to say fucking. 在口語中用上fuking這個單詞有強調的意味，相當于咱們平時說的TMD，比如說有一個問題你想了很久，卻還是沒有結果：I don't understand this fucking question.這個問題真TMD搞不懂！這里的effing就相當于這個F word—— fucking
2. You are deeply disturbed.你已經被她攪得心神不安了。
3. You guys have been dating since kindergarten and you haven't sealed the deal.你們從幼兒園時代就開始交往，到現在你都沒"搞定她"。kindergarten幼兒園。seal the deal 搞定，如果要具體說搞定某人，得加上介詞with。seal the deal with sb.搞定某人
4. Come on的含義：1、請求，鼓勵，勸說：Come on, Lucy, come on. Don’t be so shy. 來吧，露茜，來吧，別不好意思。2、責備，不耐煩：Come on, don’t sit there dreaming. 得啦，別坐在那兒空想了。4、挑戰，激怒對方：Come on! I’m not afraid of you. 來吧，我不會怕你的。“加油，加油”："Come on! Come on!"
5. Are you following us or something?你是在跟蹤我們嗎?這里的跟蹤用的是follow 跟蹤某人，我們還可以另外一個單詞stalk。跟蹤這事兒最典型的就是狗仔隊了（Paparazzi，paparazzo）。Paparazzi stalk him at home and trail him in cars. 狗仔隊在他家周圍潛伏，開車尾隨他。
6. or something：這在我們日常的交流中也會經常用到，表示“或是什么的”“諸如此類什么的”。比如：Let's just watch TV or something at your place.咱們去你那兒看電視什么的吧。在疑問句中它也是經常用到的，看到某人非常優秀，非常有天分，有人會好奇地問他：Are you a genius or something?你是個天才之類的人物吧？
