Blair comes up with a devious plan to take down her new teacher, Rachel. Chuck has no recollection of what happened to him when he wakes up in a hotel. Nate and Vanessa try to help Chuck fill in the missing pieces of his night. Meanwhile Dan and Serena try to keep their relantionship together as Rufus and Lily grow even closer.
1. Gossip Girl: While upper east siders are hitting the snooze button, Blair Waldorf had a rude awakening when the rooster crowed at dawn this morning.

2. Harold: I wish you'd let me speak to the school. It sounds like this teacher's been after you from the start.
Blair: Thank you. But I wanted to handle this on my own.
Harold: That speaks volumes of the mature young lady you've become.
Blair: I wish everyone could see me through your eyes.
Harold: You keep your chin up. I'll see you after school.
speak volume: to make a situation very clear without the use of words, 充分證明

keep your chin up: 不要氣餒, chin是下巴的意思
3. Isabel: To be honest, Blair, none of us are that into 5:00 a.m. Trash duty. I think we're gonna sit this one out.
sit out: to refrain from taking part in: sit out a dance.跟中文的“坐視不理”是不是有點像？
4. Nelly: Please, I-I need to check the dow.
Blair: Hey! Nelly Yuki, get a grip!
dow: 指的就是Dow Jones Index,道瓊斯指數
get a grip: another way of saying "take it easy" or "stop being so paranoid already!"
5. Dan: If Blair did this to Rachel, this... I mean, she's gone way too far.
she's gone way too far: 她太過分了，她太過火了，另外一個詞組cross the line也有類似的意思，表示越界了，過分了。
6. Nate: All right, listen, maybe you should get some rest. It could help jog your memory.
jog your memory: to cause you to remember something
