It was another Saturday and no one knew what to do! The weather forecast included an incoming weather pattern of heavy thunder and rain!
又是一個星期六，大家都不知道該干什么！天氣預報說馬上要出現的天氣模式有大雷陣雨！
No need to water the lawn now! dad said. "How about going to a movie?"
“現在沒有必要給草坪澆水！”爸爸說。“我們去看場電影怎么樣？”
"I thought we were watching the expenses!" mom replied.
“我以為我們在注意花銷呢！”媽媽說。
"Aw who cares about that!" dad answered. "We have a way of life that we have to uphold! We can't just NOT do something because we can't afford it!"
“噢，別管它！”爸爸回答道。“我們得維持我們的生活方式！不能因為我們負擔不起就不做某件事！”
You watch your P's and Q's mister! mom said to him as she pinched him on the cheek and smiled. "We're supposed to weigh up the pros and cons of everything we do. I don't like it either! I wish I could just wave my magic wand and make us rich! But it ain't gonna happen! So you watch your step!"
“你要謹言慎行，先生！”媽媽說，她在他的臉上擰了一下并笑了。“我們應該對我們所做的每一件事權衡利弊。我也不喜歡這個樣子！真希望我能魔杖一揮，讓我們發財！可這樣的事不會發生！所以你要小心謹慎！”
"I'll watch out for you all right!" dad said as he kissed mom back! "But we have to find some ways and means to do something today! We can't sit in this house all day; it'll just get more wear and tear! And it's already practically worn out! I say we let it be like water off a duck's back and we still go to a movie!"
“我會為你密切注意的！”爸爸邊說邊回吻媽媽。“可是今天我們得想辦法做點兒什么！我們不能整天坐在家里，這樣我們只會更加受折磨！我們實際上已經精疲力竭了！叫我說就讓它像鴨背上的落水，我們還是去看電影吧！”
You want to go out? I'll show you the way out! then mom pulled dad to the back door and pushed him out! She smiled as he pounded on the door!
“你想出去嗎？我會告訴你出口在哪里！”接著媽媽就把爸爸推到后門把他趕了出去！他捶門的時候她笑了。
Dave, Chuck, Sarah and baby Kim all just watched them! It looked like it was going to be another one of those Saturdays!
大衛、查克、薩拉和小寶貝金都看著他倆！看樣子又要過星期六啦！
