136.寡不敵眾？
When Dan answered the knock on his door he never expected to be knocked on his head!
當丹去看是誰敲門的時候，他怎么也沒想到他會被人當頭打昏！
But he was and as he fell out into the yard he saw three men.
但他就是挨了一棒，在他倒到院子里時，他看見了三個人。
He knew their faces by heart; they were the criminals the police were searching for!
他記住了他們的臉相， 他們是警察正在追捕的犯人！
"Get up, you bastard! We know about how you told the police who we were!"
"起來，你這個渾蛋！我們知道你是怎樣向警察告發我們的！"
Then one of them moved to kick Dan in the stomach.
接著其中一個人過來踢丹的肚子。
But Dan wasn't done yet; he knew a thing or two about fighting.
可是丹沒有完蛋，因為他對打架很有經驗。
He caught the foot, held it and then knocked the bottom out of the man.
他抓住那人的腳，把他扳倒了。
As he stood up the other two men were silent. They knew next to nothing of Dan.
他站起來的時候，另外兩個人沒有吱聲。他們對丹一無所知。
They had no idea, for example, that he knew no bounds when it came to fighting!
比方說，他們不知道丹打起架來是不知限量的！
And he hated to be knocked down! Especially by lowlife like this!
而且他不喜歡被別人打倒！尤其是被這樣的罪犯打倒！
"So you think you know all the answers, eh?
"這么說你們認為自己見多識廣，嗯？
Well then, why didn't you knock me cold before you thought you were so powerful!
好，那你們為什么不在認為自己有本領之前把我打昏呢？
C'mon. Let's see if you can knock the spots off me now!" Dan said.
來吧，讓我們看看你們現在是否能夠輕而易舉地戰勝我！"丹說。
The second man came at Dan. But he knew inside out how this guy would fight.
第二個人向丹發起了進攻。但他完全清楚這個家伙會怎樣動手。
He was down in a second. Tomorrow he wouldn't know on which side of his bread was buttered!
不到一秒鐘，他就倒下了。明天他就不知道自己的利益所在了。
The last man hesitated!
最后那個人猶豫了！
"Are you going to surrender, or do I have to come and get you?" Dan said.
"你是投降呢？還是要我來抓你？"丹問。
The man ran! Dan caught him in an instant and beat him to the ground. He hated thugs!
那人撒腿就跑！丹立馬把他抓住并把他打倒在地。他最恨暴徒了！
Then he called the police and they came and took the men to jail!
然后他報了警，督察過來把他們抓進了監獄！
"Thanks, Captain!" one police said to Dan.
"謝謝您，長官！" 一位警察對丹說。
"I've retired, Stan. No need to call me that anymore!"
"我已經退休了，斯坦，沒有必要再叫我長官了！"
