96.再解一個謎
When Marv finally got the thumbs up, he knew that it was time to get to work.
當馬伍終于得到同意時，他知道是大干一場的時候了。
He had a mystery to solve and the sooner he got to the bottom of it, the sooner he could go home.
他要解開一個謎，他越早探明真相，他就能越早回家。
It was all part of his new job: solve one mystery per day and then he could get to sleep!
這是他新工作的一部分：每天解開一個謎，然后他就能睡覺了！
At first he had only got time off from work to do this job part-time,
剛開始的時候他只能從工作中抽出時間做一做兼職，
but he had got the feel of the new job so fast that he had quit to work full-time.
但很快他就嘗到了這份新工作的味道，因此便辭了原來的工作做全職。
And he was good at it! He got through at least one, sometimes two mysteries per day!
而且還做得相當不錯！他每天至少解開一個謎，有時還能解開兩個！
Time to get under way! He took out the paperwork and got the ball rolling!
是開始全力以赴的時候了！他拿出文件，著手開始研究！
Hmmm. This was a hard one! It would take a while... Hours passed by...
嗯……，這個謎太難解了！得花一點時間……幾個小時過去了……
Lunch came and went…Marv got up for a bathroom break!
午飯時間到了又過了……馬伍起身去上廁所。
Then he tried again to get it together...
接著他又試著集中心思……
It wasn't working and Marv started to get tired of a lack of answers. He looked at it again. Nothing!
還是不管用，馬伍開始對找不到答案感到厭煩了。他又看了看，還是沒看出任何東西來！
Finally the pressure got to him. He couldn't do it!
最后壓力使他沮喪起來。他居然束手無策！
He had somehow got used to solving mysteries.
他已經在不知不覺中習慣把謎解開。
Now that he had failed he felt miserable.
現在他失敗了，所以覺得很難受。
Dinner came and passed as well... Marv wouldn't be able to sleep tonight.
晚飯時間到了又過了……馬伍今天晚上一定睡不著覺。
The next day he came to work tired and unrested.
第二天，他來上班的時候又累又困。
There it was still; the mystery he couldn't solve!
辦公室一片寂靜，他還是解不開那個謎！
It had been so fun to get to do this work earlier, now it was just a bore...
以前做這種工作是那么有意思，現在卻只會讓他生厭……
Marv quit. He didn't even have a normal job to go back to...
馬伍辭職了。他甚至都沒有一份正常的工作可以讓他重操舊業.......
