Man: So, Jane, what do you think of Eric's proposal?
男：Jane,你對Eric的提議怎么看？
Woman: I'm all for it.
女：我完全贊成。
Man: So you think it's true?
男：所以你覺得真的是這樣？
What he says about the problems about the way it's being done?
他說的問題和問題的解決方法都是對的？
Woman: Well, Yeah, I do. Take his first reason. Like, I know you don't drive, but I do drive here everyday, so I need a place to park my car.
女：對啊，當(dāng)然啦。就拿他第一個(gè)理由來說吧，我知道你不開車，但是我確實(shí)每天都開車過來，所以我真的需要停車的地方。
And remember last year when they decided to repair some of the parking lots?
你還記得去年他們決定修整其中一些停車場嗎？
Man: Oh yeah, I remember that, there was a lot of work going on, wasn't there? Starting in December.
男：記得，當(dāng)時(shí)工程浩大呀，對吧？十二月份開始的。
Woman: Right, at least four lots were closed, and that meant there weren't enough parking spots for students and professor's cars.
女：沒錯(cuò)，那會(huì)兒至少關(guān)閉了四個(gè)停車場，這就意味著教授和學(xué)生們根本沒有足夠的停車位。
I usually had to circle around looking for parking on one of the streets.
我通常都得在某條街上四處轉(zhuǎn)悠才能找到停車的地方。
And then walk from the street all the way to my classes.
然后還得一路從街上走到上課的教室。
Man: That's annoying.
男：那很煩人啊。
Woman: Yeah, and it happened to a lot of other people in my classes too!
女：沒錯(cuò)，而且我班上很多同學(xué)也有這種遭遇。
People were always arriving late because of all the trouble they had parking.
就因?yàn)橥＼噯栴}，大家經(jīng)常遲到。
Sometimes even my professors were late.
有時(shí)甚至教授們也會(huì)因此遲到。
Man: Yeah.
男：是啊。
Woman: And also, his second point? That makes sense too.
女：還有他第二個(gè)理由也說得通啊。
I mean, for instance, part of the reason those parking lot repairs last year took so long was because of the big snowstorms.
比如說，去年那些停車場之所以花了那么久都沒修好，部分原因也是因?yàn)楸╋L(fēng)雪。
They had to keep stopping, sometimes for a week or two at a time, because of snow and ice on the ground.
由于地面結(jié)冰還有積雪，修整人員總是不得不停工，有時(shí)候一停就是一兩個(gè)星期。
Man: Yeah, I remember that, we had a bunch of snowstorms in a row last year.
男：對，我有印象。去年連續(xù)有好多次暴風(fēng)雪。
Woman: Yeah, so with all that starting and stopping cause of the weather, the job took them a lot longer to finish.
女：是的，由于天氣原因他們不得不修修停停，所以花了很長時(shí)間才完工。
