38.大亨的聚會(huì)
"Okay, so let me bring you up to date on the situation. " Diddy D said to Ponie Boy.
"好，讓我告訴你局勢(shì)發(fā)展的最新情況，" 迪迪D對(duì)波尼博伊說(shuō)。
"You have to bring together every person you know for this party, because Big Daddy is going to bring the house down, hear?
"你得為這次聚會(huì)召集所有你認(rèn)識(shí)的人，因?yàn)榇蠛鄿?zhǔn)備要博得全場(chǎng)喝彩，聽(tīng)見(jiàn)了嗎？
He was brought up to go to house parties and this will be his biggest one ever!"
他從小就喜歡參加家庭集會(huì)，這次聚會(huì)將規(guī)模空前！"
"So what do I do?" Ponie Boy said.
"那我做什么呢？"波尼博伊問(wèn)。
"I thought I was brought on to help clean up some mess!
"我以為我是被找來(lái)幫助收拾殘局的！
I heard that the party planning had been brought to a standstill and maybe cancelled!"
我聽(tīng)說(shuō)聚會(huì)計(jì)劃被停止了，或者可能被取消了！"
"No way, man!" Diddy D replied energetically.
"不可能，先生！" 迪迪D響亮地回答道。
"The party's on and Big Daddy's absoulutely going to bring it off!
"聚會(huì)仍在準(zhǔn)備之中，大亨是絕對(duì)要把它辦成功的！
There were some preliminary problems trying to bring it into effect, it almost brought him to ruin.
起初實(shí)施起來(lái)是有些問(wèn)題，
But that's all cleared up now.
這幾乎把他給毀了。
The truth was brought to light and it had nothing to do with Big Daddy!"
但現(xiàn)在所有問(wèn)題都解決了。事實(shí)真相被揭穿了，完全與大亨沒(méi)有關(guān)系!"
"Good. I've always wanted to work one of his parties.
"很好，我一直想組織一次他的聚會(huì)。
I'll bring over some grils, too, okay?" Ponie Boy said with a smile.
他還想帶一些女孩來(lái)，行嗎？"波尼博伊笑著說(shuō)。
"Now when I bring them through the door, do they still have to pay?"
"我?guī)齻冞M(jìn)那里的時(shí)候，她們還要買(mǎi)票嗎？"
"Absolutely not!
"絕對(duì)不要！
You bring some hot chicks in and they'll add to the flavor of the party!
我?guī)切r(shí)髦的小妞兒來(lái)，她們會(huì)使聚會(huì)增色不少的！
If you know what I mean! I might even have to bring myself to dance with one or two!"Diddy D said as he pretended he was dancing.
你明白我的意思吧！我可能自己也得找一兩個(gè)跳跳舞！"迪迪Ｄ一邊假裝跳舞一邊說(shuō)。
"And if you can bring me to terms with one to come up to my room afterwards, well I'll bring you under my wing to do even more parties."
"如果你能讓我屈服于某個(gè)女孩，聚會(huì)結(jié)束后她能來(lái)我家，我會(huì)照顧你組織更多的聚會(huì)。"
"Cool."
"太酷了！"
