Woman: Hey, Matt, you got your paper done for class today?

Man: No, I just realized it's sitting on my desk. I wrote it last night, but I forgot to bring it with me.
男：不，我剛想起來論文還在我桌子上呢。我昨天晚上寫的，但是忘記帶過來了。
Woman: Uh-oh, so what are you gonna do?
女：啊...那你打算怎么辦？
Man: Well, I could drive home and get it, I live off campus, but if I hurry, I'd probably get home and bring the paper back before class was over. You know how strict she is about late submissions.
男：嗯...我可以開車回家去拿，我住在校外，不過如果快的話，我現在回家也許能趕得及在下課之前把論文拿回來。你也知道教授對晚交作業管得很嚴的。
Woman: Yeah, but you'd miss part of the class. I know!
女：是的，可是這樣的話你就會錯過課上的部分內容了。我知道啊！
Woman: Maybe you could talk to the professor, explain what happened and ask her if you could send it later by email.
女：也許你可以跟教授說一說，解釋一下情況，問問她可不可以讓你晚一點用郵件把論文發給她。
Man: I know, but, I'd have to do it after class cause she always starts class right on time. There wouldn't be time to talk to her until after class.
男：我知道，可是我只能下課之后再跟她說了，因為她總是準時開始上課。下課之前都沒有時間可以跟她說。
Woman: Well, why don't you do that and hope she doesn't consider the paper late?
女：好吧，你可以試試啊，然后希望她不會覺得你晚交了吧。
