Woman: Jim, you're in the choir, right? What do you think about what they are doing next year? This article?
女：Jim,你在合唱團對嗎？你覺得他們明年要做的事情怎么樣？就是那篇文章上說的那些。
Man: I really like it.
男：我很喜歡他們的想法。
Woman: Yeah?
女：真的嗎？
Man: Yeah! The new director is right that it'll motivate us.
男：真的！新來的團長說得沒錯，這么做確實可以激勵我們。
Woman: How's that?
女：怎么激勵？
Man: Well, some of the other schools are really good, so we'll really have to work hard to go up against them.
男：嗯...一些其他學(xué)校的合唱團實力真的很強，所以要超過他們的話我們還確實需要好好努力。
Woman: Yeah!
女：是啊！
Man: I mean, right now, we don't rehearse more than once a week. But if we know we'd be competing with other schools, we'd probably rehearse more often and improve our singing a lot.
男：目前，我們一個星期最多排練一次。但是如果我們知道要和其他學(xué)校比賽的話，可能就會多排練幾次，爭取唱得更好了。
Woman: That's true, uh, the more you practice the better you get. So, uh, what about, what the article said about how this will help the program?
女：這倒是真的。排練得越多，唱得就越好。那...關(guān)于這篇文章上說這么做對這個項目有幫助，你怎么看？
Man: I hope it works. Right now, our program is pretty small but we have some really talented people and it would be great to attract even more people.
男：我希望真的能有幫助。現(xiàn)在我們的音樂項目規(guī)模雖然小，但是也有一些很有才華的成員，而且如果能吸引更多人參加就太棒了 。
Woman: So, how would this plan help?
女：這項計劃會如何有幫助呢？
Man: Well, if we go to these off campus events and other people hear us and think we are really good, we might be able to get some new students interested in coming to this university, to be a part of our music program and perform in our choir concerts.
男：如果我們?nèi)ミ@些校外活動上演出，別人聽見了我們的歌聲覺得我們很棒的話，也許就會有一些新學(xué)生有興趣報考我們大學(xué)，愿意加入我們的音樂項目并在我們合唱團的音樂會上表演。
Woman: You're right! I haven't really thought about that.
