What at first glance has the appearance of a gutra, a cloth headdress worn in Qatar, the mascot is not meant to have a fixed anthropomorphic identity, according to the marketing team that created it.
吉祥物的設計團隊稱，乍一看，吉祥物的外觀像卡塔爾人戴的白頭巾（gutra），但它并不意味著有特定的擬人化身份。
He belongs to a parallel mascot-verse that is indescribable – everyone is invited to interpret what it looks like. La'eeb encourages everyone to believe in themselves as "Now is All". He will bring the joy of football to everyone.

Social media was full of memes once La'eeb had been announced, with a lot of comparisons being drawn. Perhaps the most accurate pointed to La'eeb's similarities with Casper the Friendly Ghost, while others suggested he looked like South Park's Towelie.
