"Alright," said Marvin like the tolling of a great cracked bell, "I'll do it."	“那好吧。”馬文說，聲音嘶啞得像口破鐘，“我這就去。”
"Good ..." snapped Zaphod, "great ... thank you ..."	“這才像話……”贊福德說，“好的……謝謝……”
Marvin turned and lifted his flat-topped triangular red eyes up towards him.	馬文轉過身來，用自己那扁平的紅色三角形眼睛對著他。
"I'm not getting you down at all am I?" he said pathetically.	“我沒有讓你不高興吧？”他可憐兮兮地問。
"No no Marvin," lilted Trillian, "that's just fine, really ..."	“哦，當然沒有，馬文。”崔莉恩輕快地說，“好了，真的……”
"I wouldn't like to think that I was getting you down."	“我不想讓你不高興。”
"No, don't worry about that," the lilt continued, "you just act as comes naturally and everything will be just fine."	“當然，沒關系的。”輕快的聲音繼續道，“你只需要自自然然地去做你的事，一切都會好起來的。”
"You're sure you don't mind?" probed Marvin.	“你保證你不介意？”馬文試探著問。
