"You wouldn't need to," said Ford. "They've got as much sex appeal as a road accident. No, don't move," he added as Arthur began to uncurl himself, "you'd better be prepared for the jump into hyperspace. Arthur thought about this.	阿瑟想了想。
"Ford," he said.	“福特。”他說(shuō)。
"Yeah?"	“什么事？”
"What's this fish doing in my ear?"	“這條魚(yú)在我耳朵里干了什么？”
"It's translating for you. It's a Babel fish. Look it up in the book if you like."	“它替你翻譯啊。這是一條巴別魚(yú)。你可以去查指南，要是你愿意的話。”
He tossed over The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy and then curled himself up into a foetal ball to prepare himself for the jump.	說(shuō)著他就把《銀河系漫游指南》扔給阿瑟，然后把身體蜷縮成像胎兒一樣，為躍遷做準(zhǔn)備。
At that moment the bottom fell out of Arthur's mind.	就在這時(shí)，阿瑟的心里開(kāi)始翻江倒海起來(lái)。
His eyes turned inside out. His feet began to leak out of the top of his head.	他的眼睛鼓了出來(lái)，腳開(kāi)始一個(gè)勁兒往頭上頂。

They were passing through hyperspace.	他們正在通過(guò)超空間。
