Harry stood, tense, waiting for Riddle to raise his wand.

Riddle opened his mouth wide and hissed – but Harry understood what he was saying.

Harry wheeled around to look up at the statue, Fawkes swaying on his shoulder.

Slytherin's gigantic stone face was moving.

Horror-struck, Harry saw his mouth opening, wider and wider, to make a huge black hole.
哈利極度驚恐地看到它的嘴巴張開了，越張越大，最后形成一個巨大的黑洞。
And something was stirring inside the statue's mouth.

Something was slithering up from its depths.

Harry backed away until he hit the dark Chamber wall, and as he shut his eyes tight he felt Fawkes's wing sweep his cheek as he took flight.
哈利急步后退，撞在了漆黑的密室墻壁上。他的眼睛閉得緊緊的，感覺到福克斯在展翅起飛，翅膀掃到了他的面頰。
