'Help me, help me,' Harry muttered wildly, 'someone, anyone!'
“救救我，救救我，”哈利不知所措地低喚道，“誰(shuí)能救我，無(wú)論是誰(shuí)！”
The snake's tail whipped across the floor again.
蛇怪的尾巴又掃過(guò)來(lái)了。
Harry ducked. Something soft hit his face.
哈利趕緊一低頭，一個(gè)柔軟的東西擊中了他的臉。
The Basilisk had swept the Sorting Hat into Harry's arms.
蛇怪把分院帽掃進(jìn)了哈利懷里。
Harry seized it. It was all he had left, his only chance.
哈利抓住帽子，這是他僅有的武器，是他惟一的希望了。
He rammed it onto his head and threw himself flat onto the floor as the Basilisk's tail swung over him again.
他胡亂地把它扣在腦袋上，接著便趴倒在地，因?yàn)樯吖值奈舶陀殖麙哌^(guò)來(lái)了。
'Help me... help me... ' Harry thought, his eyes screwed tight under the Hat. 'Please help me!'
“救救我——救救我——”哈利想道，眼睛被緊緊地壓在帽子下面，“請(qǐng)救救我。”
There was no answering voice.
沒(méi)有聲音回答他。
Instead, the Hat contracted, as though an invisible hand was squeezing it very tightly.
相反，帽子越來(lái)越緊，就好像有一只看不見(jiàn)的手在拼命地攥緊它似的。
Something very hard and heavy thudded onto the top of Harry's head, almost knocking him out.
啷！一個(gè)很硬很重的東西落到哈利的腦袋頂上，差點(diǎn)把他砸昏了。
Stars winking in front of his eyes, he grabbed the top of the Hat to pull it off and felt something long and hard beneath it.
他的眼前冒起了金星。他一把抓住帽頂，想把它脫掉，卻摸到帽子下面有一個(gè)長(zhǎng)長(zhǎng)的、硬硬的東西。
A gleaming silver sword had appeared inside the Hat, its handle glittering with rubies the size of eggs.
一把閃閃發(fā)亮的銀劍出現(xiàn)在帽子里，劍柄上鑲嵌著璀璨奪目的雞蛋大的紅寶石。
'Kill the boy! Leave the bird!
“殺死那個(gè)男孩！離開(kāi)那只鳥(niǎo)！
The boy is behind you! Sniff – smell him!'
男孩在你后面！你使勁聞聞——聞聞他的氣味！”
Harry was on his feet, ready.
哈利已經(jīng)站起來(lái)，做好準(zhǔn)備。
The basilisk's head was falling, its body coiling around, hitting pillars as it twisted to face him.
蛇怪的腦袋正在降落，它朝哈利轉(zhuǎn)過(guò)臉來(lái)，身體一圈圈地盤繞起來(lái)，啪啪地敲打著那些石柱。
