1. later on
（1）稍后，過些時候（做某事的時間跟此刻說話時候的時間差很短）
e.g. I' ll tell you all about it later on.
晚些時候我再把有關這一切告訴你。
e.g. I'm busy now but I'll do it later on.
我現在很忙，這事我以后再做。
（2）以后（做某事的時間跟此刻說話時候的時間差很長）
e.g. A little care at the beginning in understanding them will be rewarded manyfold later on.
在學習的開始，花一點功夫去理解它們會在以后得到許多倍的益處。
e.g. If you neglect these things,you will just heap up problems for yourself later on.
要是你忽視這些事,以后,你會給自己招來一大堆問題。
2. take out of oneself：給......透透氣解解悶，給......消氣解愁，幫助...... 散心解悶
e.g. I took out of myself this evening, going to the theatre.
我今天給帶出去看戲劇去了，透透氣解解悶。
e.g. You has been so blue because you stay at home alone for a long time and you need taking out of yourself now.
你心情不佳，因為你獨自呆在家中，你需要出去透透氣解解悶。
3. need doing something.：需要被做......
e.g. The garden doesn't need watering it rained last night.
花園不用澆水了，因為昨夜剛下過雨。
e.g. This plant needs to be watered twice a week.
這種花一星期要澆兩次。
