Mr Wong owned a popular restaurant.
Wong開了一間很受歡迎的酒樓。
A successful businessman,Mr Lee,had lunch there very day.
有一個很成功的商人Lee先生每天都在這吃午餐
Simon Chow worked for Mr Lee.
Simon Chow幫Lee先生做事。
One day he came into the resaurant.
有一天，他進到這家酒樓。
Simon wanted people to think that he was rich
Simon想大家認(rèn)為他很富有，
so he wore an expensive suit.
因此他穿了一套很貴的西服。
He called out to Mr Wong,'Waiter!
他叫Wong先生,‘服務(wù)員,
Give me your best table.
給張最好的桌子給我。
Mr Wong showed Simon to an empty table.
Wong先生帶Simon去一張沒有人的桌子。
I want a better table Say Simon I want to sit over there,by the window.
Simon說，我要一張好桌子，我要坐在那里，靠近窗的
He did not see that his boss was already sitting at the table.
他見不到他的老板已經(jīng)坐在那張臺。
Mr Wong was nervous of fussy customers like Simon.
Wong先生對像Simon這樣挑剔的顧客很緊張
'Would you mind moving to another table,sir?'
‘先生，你介意到另外一張桌子嗎，
he asked Mr Lee quietly.
他小心地問Lee先生。
'No,I don't mind,'said Mr Lee.
Lee先生回答：‘我不介意。
He got up and changed tables.
他起來換了一張桌子。
Simon called Mr Wong again.
Simon又再次叫Wong先生。
'It's too hot in here.Turn up the air-con!
’這里太熱了。打大點冷氣。‘
'Oh,I'm sorry,sir.I can't do that.
’哦，先生，對不起。我不能這樣做
It's already turned up.
這已經(jīng)夠大了。
Would you like to take off you jacket?'
把你的夾克脫下來好嗎？’'
'No,'said Simon rudely.
‘不行’Simon粗暴地說
'Bring me the menu at once.
‘給我菜單，快點。
Simon wanted to order something that was not on the menu.
Simon想點些菜單上沒有的東西。
'Waiter!Bring me a steak and fries!'he called loudly.
他大聲的叫，‘服務(wù)員給我一份牛排和薯片
'I'm sorry,sir,'said Mr Wong politely.
Wong先生很有禮貌地說，‘先生，非常的抱歉’
'We don't have steak.We only serve Chinese food.
‘我們沒有牛排，我們只供應(yīng)中式食物
Would you like to order something from the menu?'
你點菜單上的菜好嗎？
Finally Simon ordered his food.
Simon終于叫了東西吃。
When the food came,Simon was not happy.
食物來的時候，Simon又很不高興。
'Look at these noodles!They aren't hot enough.‘
看這些面條！它們不夠熱。
The food in this restaurant is no good.
這家酒樓的食物一點都不好。
The service is terrible.I'll never come here again!'he shouted.
服務(wù)又差，我以后都不會來了！‘他叫喊道
Mr Wong went pale.He did not know what to say.
Wong先生臉都青了，他不知道說什么好。
Mr Lee was listening.
Lee先生一直都在聽。
He felt sorry for Mr Wong so he went over to Simon's table.
他覺得Wong很可憐.于是走過Simon的桌子
'Hello,Simon,'he said calmly.
‘你好，Simon’他平靜地說。'
'I think this is the best restaurant in town.
‘我認(rèn)為這是這個城鎮(zhèn)里最好的酒樓了
The food here is delicious.
這里的食物很美味
If you want five-star service,
'如果你想要五星級的服務(wù)，
you can go to the five-star restaurant next door
你可以到隔壁五星級的酒樓去
but you'll have to pay five-star prices!
但是你要付五星級的錢。
Simon went red.
Simon臉紅了。
He felt ashamed and left the restaurant quickly.
他覺得很羞愧，于是快速地離開了酒樓
