賽跑記錄
Some race horses staying in a stable. One of them starts to boast about his track record.
幾匹賽馬在馬廄里，其中一匹開始吹噓自己的賽績。
"In the last 15 races, I've won 8 of them!"
“在過去的15場馬賽中，我贏了8場！”
Another horse breaks in, "Well, in the last 27 races, I've won 19!"
另一匹馬插進來說：“在過去27場中我贏了19場！”
"Oh that's good, but in the last 36 races, I've won 28!" says another, flicking his tail.
“哦，還不錯，不過在過去的36場中，我贏了28場！”又一匹賽馬呼扇著尾巴，加進來說道。
At this point, they notice that a greyhound dog has been sitting there listening.
這時，它們注意到一只獵犬坐在那兒聽它們說話。
"I don't mean to boast," says the greyhound, "but in my last 90 races, I've won 88 of them!"
“我可不是吹牛，”獵犬說：“在我參加過的90場比賽中，我贏了88場！”
The horses are clearly amazed.
馬們顯而易見地很吃驚。
"Wow!" says one, after a hushed silence. "A taling dog."
