翻譯加油站：

字典可以查到toe-to-toe是“近戰”、“面對面”的意思，fight it out toe to toe是“肉搏決一勝負” 的意思，于是誤譯者猜想go toe-to-toe with someone是“(與某人）決戰到底”的意思。有時候有一些短語的意思確實可以“類推”得出來，但是這樣的類推常常不保險，美國出版的A Dictionary of Slangs給go toe-to- toe的解釋是debate，即“辯論”，不過考慮到俚語的文體色彩，不妨譯為“斗嘴”。
