I found it easy to make friends in China.

Why?Because there are many,many people in China.
為什么?因為中國有許多許多人。
You can meet people and talk to them easily.
你可以很容易地和人們見面并與他們交談。

In China,people can talk about everything—even how much money they make!
在中國,人們可以談論一切——甚至是他們的工資。
But in North America,people do not ask others about their salaries.
但在北美,人們就不會問別人的工資。
In China,people can visit each other without making phone calls first.
在中國,人們可以不事先打個電話就互相拜訪。
In Canada,you often need to call the people before your visit.
在加拿大,在拜訪別人之前,你需要先打個電話。
In North America,when you meet people,you try to keep talking to them.
在北美,跟人見面時你要設法跟人保持談話。
In China it's all right not to talk.
在中國,不說話也是可以的。

People in China listen while people in North America talk!

Chinese people must think North Americans talk too much!

Past Future Tense
過去將來時
I said I would buy my pop from someone else.

I certainly wondered what my parents would do.

(The past future tense means that something was going to happen
