Arms reached through the portrait hole to pull Harry and Ron inside, leaving Hermione to scramble inafter them.
好多雙手從洞口伸出來，把哈利和羅恩拉了進去，赫敏只好自己爬進去。
“Brilliant!” yelled Lee Jordan. “Inspired! What an entrance!
“太妙了！”李喬丹高呼，“真了不起！多精彩的方式！
Flying a car right into the Whomping Willow, people'll be talking about that one for years —”
開著會飛的汽車撞到打人柳上，人們會議論很多年的！”
“Good for you,” said a fifth year Harry had never spoken to;
“好樣的。”一個從來沒和哈利講過話的五年級學生說；
someone was patting him on the back as though he'd just won a marathon;
有人拍著哈利的后背，好像他剛獲得了馬拉松第一名似的；
Fred and George pushed their way to the front of the crowd and said together, “Why couldn't we'vecome in the car, eh?”
弗雷德和喬治擠到跟前，一起問：“為什么不把我們叫回去呢？”
Ron was scarlet in the face, grinning embarrassedly, but Harry could see one person who didn't lookhappy at all.

Harry nudged Ron in the ribs and nodded in Percy's direction. Ron got the point at once.

“Got to get upstairs — bit tired,” he said,

and the two of them started pushing their way toward the door on the other side of the room, which ledto a spiral staircase and the dormitories.
兩人朝房間另一頭的門口擠去，門外有螺旋式樓梯通到他們的臥室。
“ Night,” Harry called back to Hermione, who was wearing a scowl just like Percy's.
“晚安。”哈利回頭對赫敏喊道，她和珀西一樣繃著臉。
They managed to get to the other side of the common room, still having their backs slapped, andgained the peace of the staircase.
他們終于擠到了休息室的另一頭，這時還有人在拍著他們的后背。門外是僻靜的樓梯，
They hurried up it, right to the top, and at last reached the door of their old dormitory, which nowhad a sign on it saying second years.
兩人一口氣跑上樓，來到他們的舊宿舍門前，門上現在有一塊牌子寫著“二年級”。
They entered the familiar, circular room, with its five four-posters hung with red velvet and its high,narrow windows.
他們走進熟悉的圓形房間，重新看到了那五張裝飾著紅天鵝絨的四柱床，以及那幾扇又高又窄的窗子。
Their trunks had been brought up for them and stood at the ends of their beds.
他們的箱子已經搬上來了，就放在床頭。
Ron grinned guiltily at Harry.
羅恩慚愧地朝哈利笑著，
“I know I shouldn't've enjoyed that or anything, but—”
“我知道我不應該覺得得意，可是—”
The dormitory door flew open and in came the other second year Gryffindor boys, Seamus Finnigan,Dean Thomas, and Neville Longbottom.
宿舍門一下開了，另外幾個格蘭芬多的二年級男生沖了進來，他們是西莫斐尼甘、迪安托馬斯和納威隆巴頓。
“Unbelievable!” beamed Seamus.
“真不敢相信！”西莫眉開眼笑。
“Cool,” said Dean.
“酷。”迪安說。
“Amazing,” said Neville, awestruck.
“太驚人了。”納威敬佩地說。
Harry couldn't help it. He grinned, too.
哈利再也忍不住。他也笑了。
