詞義辨析:

far from和far away from的區別:

far from除表示距離的"遠離"之外，還有"遠遠不"，"完全不"；"決非"之意；后接名詞、動名詞或形容詞。而far away from則表示"遠離（某地、某人等）"。far from的用法比far away from更豐富一些。當far away from意為"遠離"，只表示距離，away可省去。

例句:

The factory is far (away) from his home.

工廠離他家很遠。

He is far from a fool.

他一點也不傻。

Far from helping him, you have just made it worse.

你不僅沒有幫上他，反倒使情況更糟糕。（此far是形容詞意為遠的;遙遠的;久遠的）
