Xiaomi unveiled a luxury version of its SU7 electric sports car on Tuesday, saying the $114,000 model would rank as the fastest four-door car in production in a direct challenge to the likes of Tesla, and Porsche.

Xiaomi SU7 Ultra adopts the design language of the regular SU7 with a few notable enhancements. The Ultra variant of this sedan adopts sporty bumpers, a big rear spoiler, and a wider body.

Now, the Chinese newcomer has taken a stripped-out SU7 Ultra prototype to the famed Nurburgring Nordschleife, where it put down a quicker time than the quickest Taycan.
