Tania: What a beautiful day! Spring is finally coming.
Andrew: Yes, the air is warm, birds are chirping, and cherry blossoms are coming into bloom.
Tania: The pink petals are so beautiful. No wonder people in Japan would view cheery blossoms on Hanami.
Andrew: Sounds very romantic.
Tania: In ancient times, aristocrats in Japan would sit under the cherry tree and also write poems. Nowadays, people bring meals with them or have barbeques under the tree. Tea ceremonies are held as well.
Andrew: The one thing that bothers me on such occasions is whether there will be too many people.
Tania: You bet. Since the Japanese love sakura so much, they all come out during this time and have fun. I also yearn to sit down under the cherry tree and have a good time.
Andrew: Why not? Let's do bring some food.
