Lillian: I got an invitation from the Museum of Contemporary Chinese Literature. There will be an exhibition this Thursday. Do you have any interest?
莉蓮：我收到了中國現(xiàn)代文學(xué)館的邀請，這周四有個展覽，你有興趣嗎？
Karen: What is on display?
卡倫：在展出什么？
Lillian: It's called "Paris: Dialogue". The exhibition features poems written by William Yip, a Chinese American writer and the photography of his son Jonas Yip. William Yip was born in Guangdong Province and studied in Taiwan University, and later in Princeton. He is the author of over 50 books.
莉蓮：展覽的名稱是“巴黎：對話”。主要展出一位美籍華人葉維廉的詩作和他兒子葉灼的攝影作品。葉維廉出生于廣東，曾經(jīng)在臺灣大學(xué)讀書，后來去普林斯頓求學(xué)，他有50多本著作。
Karen: Do viewers just look at his poems? Well, poetry isn't really my cup of tea.
卡倫：那參觀者就是看他的詩嗎？其實我對詩歌并不是很有興趣。
Lillian: The poems will be recited by the author himself; many writers will be coming in. And there are also the photographs of Paris in black and white.
莉蓮：作者會朗誦他的作品，許多作家也會來到現(xiàn)場。而且還有巴黎的黑白照片啊。
Karen: Fine, I'll go with you. How long will it take altogether?
卡倫：好吧，我跟你一起去。那要花多長時間呢？
Lillian: You are a good buddy. We need to take the metro to get there, and the reciting will be one and a half hour.
莉蓮：你真好。我們需要坐地鐵去，朗誦持續(xù)1個半小時。
