Claire: I remember that you once said you want to try some authentic Korean cuisine. Now, please make yourself at home.

Crystal: Thank you. What's this? A soup with chicken and ginseng?
克莉絲多：謝謝。這是什么？湯里面有雞肉和人參？
Claire: Yes. It's called samgye-tang in Korean. We Koreans love eating it as we believe it can prevent illness. It is specially served in summer time.
克萊爾：是的，韓語稱之為參雞湯。我們韓國人非常喜歡吃這道菜，據說可以預防疾病。尤其在夏天喝特別好。
Crystal: Is it because hot summer will cause excessive sweating, thus this soup could make up those lost nutrients?
克莉絲多：是因為夏季人們出汗很多，喝了這個湯可以補充缺失的營養物質嗎？
Claire: Yes. You see, we normally have uncut ingredients, as we hold that they can preserve the maximum amount of nutrients.
克萊爾：是的。你瞧，我們往往不把食材切片，因為這樣可以最大程度地保留營養物質。
Crystal: Wow, amazing. It seems that a bowl of samgye-tang a day keeps the doctor away.
克莉絲多：哇噻，真是奇妙呀。一天一碗參雞湯，就不用就醫看病了吧。
