On Ideal關于理想
Tom: Today I finished a book about personal ideals. It says that we should strive to reflect our ideals in our everyday
life. Living without an aim is like sailing without a compass.
湯姆:今天我讀了一本有關個人理想的書,書上說,我們在每天的生活中,都應該為實現理想而奮斗。生活沒有目標就像航海沒有指南針。
Mary: When I was young, my dream was to be a teacher and share what I've leamed with others.

Tom: I wanted to be a writer. I gave it up for many reasons. but mostly I just gave it up to follow other things.

Mary: But now you have the time and resources to refocus on that dream. You have unlimited power within.

Tom: I really love writing. Some of my' letters and stories have even been published in newspapers.

Mary: The way I see it. if you have the chance, you should try to make your dreams come true. Every person has a dream and
you should devote yourself to realizing yours.

Tom: Maybe with some support I can achieve my dream.
