首先了解一下：開花的動詞是bloom

bloom of youth意為風華正茂

The young movie star was in the bloom ofyouth.

這位年輕的電影明星青春煥發。

Late bloomer開花晚的植物，引申義：大器晚成的人

好，那么具體的花，從大家最熟悉的，玫瑰rose開始

a bed of roses 滿床都是玫瑰 稱心如意的境遇(或地位、生活、工作)[常用于否定句]

Sth is not a bed of roses

例句：It’s notbed of roses teaching in a secondary school.

在中學教書，并不是那么稱心如意

Under the rose 是指私下的，秘密的

百合lily

詞組 paint thelily 或者 Gild thelily。
