Glyn: Morning. Ellie.
格林：早啊，埃莉。
Ellie: Hi. Glyn Do you know who's just got married? Old MacDonald.
埃莉：你好，格林。你知道誰(shuí)剛結(jié)婚了嗎？老麥克唐納。
Glyn: You're joking. I can hardly believe my ears. He's over eighty! Who's the lovely bride?
格林：你在開(kāi)玩笑呢吧。我簡(jiǎn)直不能相信自己的耳朵了。他都80多歲了！可愛(ài)的新娘是誰(shuí)呢？
Ellie: He's nearly ninety. He met a woman at a church dance and I guess it was love at first sight for both of them. I guess
they are both quite active at their church, so it was easy to meet and spend time together.
埃莉：他都快90歲了。他在教堂的舞會(huì)上認(rèn)識(shí)了一個(gè)女人，我想他們兩個(gè)也算是一見(jiàn)鐘情吧。他們倆都挺積極參加教堂活動(dòng)的，所以就很容易
見(jiàn)面并呆在一起。
Glyn: Wow! Close to ninety? Are you sure? What about her?
格林：喔！都快90歲了？你肯定嗎？那她呢？
Ellie: I'm positive. I just saw them and asked how they were doing. She is eighty-four and on her sixth marriage.
埃莉：我肯定。我剛遇見(jiàn)他們了，并且問(wèn)了一些他們的事情。她84歲了，這已經(jīng)是她第六次結(jié)婚了。
Glyn: Is she really?
格林：她真是這樣的嗎？
Ellie: Yes, she is. And guess what? She has 34 grandchildren and almost 50 great-grandchildren.
埃莉：是啊，她就是這樣的。你知道嗎？她已經(jīng)有34個(gè)孫子孫女和將近50個(gè)曾孫了。
Glyn: Really? Quite a woman, isn't she?
格林：真的？真是個(gè)不一般的女人，不是嗎？
