Regret后悔
Mary: Hi, Tony. You look unhappy. What's wrong?
瑪麗：嗨，托尼。你看起來不高興。怎么了？
Tony: Oh, Mary. I made a big mistake.
托尼：哦，瑪麗。我犯了個(gè)大錯(cuò)。
Mary: What happened?
瑪麗：發(fā)生什么事了？
Tony: I really wish I hadn't done it.
托尼：我真希望我沒那么做。
Mary: What on earth are you talking about?
瑪麗：你究竟在說什么呢？
Tony: I got caught cheating. I feel so ashamed. The teacher saw me and told me I failed.
托尼：我考試作弊被抓了。我感覺太丟人了。老師看見我了，還告訴我這次考試不及格了。
Mary: What were you thinking?
瑪麗：你想什么呢？
Tony: You know my father. If I fail, he'll kill me. I have to do well．
托尼：你知道我爸爸的。我要是考試不及格，他會(huì)殺了我的。我必須得考好才行。
Mary: But what you should do is study hard.
瑪麗：可是你應(yīng)該做的是好好學(xué)習(xí)啊。
Tony: I know...l know...it's all my fault. I feel awful that I didn't study, and I cheated, and I got caught.
托尼：我知道…我知道…都是我的錯(cuò)。我不學(xué)習(xí)，還作弊，結(jié)果還被抓了，這真是太糟了。
Mary: So long as you learn from your mistakes.
瑪麗：只要你吸取教訓(xùn)就好了。
Tony: I know. I feel like a failure. My father is going to be so disappointed when e finds out what I've done.
托尼：我知道。我覺得自己太失敗了。我爸爸要是知道我做了些什么的話，他一定會(huì)很失望的。
