hit the spot 對胃口
hit the spot 是指“正中下懷”，指食物飲料給予人的滿足感。
A：I'm starving! 我快餓死了。
B：Here, Mom's soup will hit the spot. 來，老媽做的湯絕對對你胃口。
另外也可以指生理上通體舒暢的滿足，好比洗個“熱水澡”hot bath，或是“按摩”(massage).
A：That Thai massage really hit the spot. 那泰式按摩真是正中下懷。
B：I need one, too. My muscles are really sore. 我也要來一個。我的肌肉真的很酸。
