二、口譯技巧

1.省略

Efforts should also be dedicated to establishing a new international economic order that is just and fair, and to achieving the common development among developing and developed nations.
應當致力于建立一個公正、公平的國際經濟新秩序，實現共同發展。（省略不言而喻的詞）

2.增詞

the volume of international trade is expanding faster than world economy
國際貿易的增長速度高于世界經濟的增長速度⋯⋯ （增添原文中所省略的詞語）

3.詞性轉換

形容詞轉化為副詞
First of all, I would like to hereby extend sincere gratitude to the chairman of the organizing committee for his kind invitation!
首先，我要衷心地感謝籌委會主席對我的邀請。（原文中的“gratitude”翻譯 運用名詞轉化為動詞的技巧）

形容詞轉化為名詞
The rise of knowledge-based economy, coupled with the overwhelming scientific and technological revolution, has led to consistent innovations in information technology, bio-technology, new materials, new energy, space technology and oceanic technology.

4.拆分

5.被動轉化為主動
