二、口譯技巧

1.省略
上個世紀中，亞洲的巨變和崛起，譜寫了亞洲發展的輝煌篇章，也成為人類社會進步的顯著標志。
The rise of Asia in the middle of the last century has written a glorious chapter for its own development, which is also a hallmark of human progress. （原文中“巨變和崛起”屬同義重復，可以只譯“崛起”）

我們將恪守入世承諾，有步驟地擴大開放領域，降低關稅水平，取消非關稅壁壘。
We will honor our WTO commitments, open more areas in a phased manner, lower tariffs and remove non-tariff barriers. （省略無實際意義的詞）

2.增詞
展望新世紀，曾經擁有光輝燦爛歷史的亞洲，必將創造出更加絢麗多彩的文明。
Looking into the new century, we are hopeful that Asia, a continent of great history, will surely create more splendid civilizations. （無主句，增加主語和表語）

第一、以經濟合作為重點，逐步拓展全方位合作。
First, we should focus on the economic cooperation and then gradually expand the cooperation into all other areas.（無主句，增加主語）

3.詞性轉換
動詞轉化為副詞
但是，與歐洲和北美區域合作相比，亞洲區域合作相對落后。
However, compared with Europe and North America, Asia’s regional cooperation is still rather backward.

動詞轉化為介詞
立足現有渠道，不斷擴大合作范圍。
We should expand our cooperation areas on the basis of existing channels.

動詞轉化為名詞
我們將在更大范圍和更深程度上參與國際經濟合作與競爭。
Our participation in worldwide economic cooperation and competition will assume greater scope and depth.

4.句子成分轉換

5.意譯
